Upcoming Workshops
Bringing Baby Home (BBH) South Rock is presently making a point to hold local, in-person workshops in this community. It's our belief that building a genuine sense of community is an important healing factor to promote and restore resilience, mental wellness and a sense of safety - all impacted by the pandemic. Online and weekend workshops will also be offered on a rolling basis.
A primary goal of BBH South Rock is to not only help you build a foundation in your relationship and growing family, but also in your community. We want to help you build connections with local resources, service providers and community members - so you know what door to knock on when you need something.

Below is our latest offerings to support your transition to parenthood. We so are excited to have you!
As a father of 3 and Executive Director at Sources Community Resources, I am so excited to see this evidence based resource being made available to the new caregivers of White Rock/South Surrey.

While becoming parents is the most profound transition that we experience in our lives as we shift the focus of our life’s meaning and purpose to this precious little being that will inhabit our hearts for the rest of our lives, it is a transition that fundamentally shifts our identities, our energy and our relationships.

The Gottmans have developed a phenomenal program to guide new caregivers through this transition and our community is fortunate to have someone as passionate and authentic as Leanne Fessler to bring this knowledge to life.

We've long known that a child's most important and influential resource is their parent and primary caregivers. Yet new parents today face significant changes and stressors in their lives as they step into their new roles that require a strong relationship foundation to be able to provide a warm, nurturing and consistent environment conducive for optimal child development and growth.
The Bringing Baby Home (BBH) Program provides a safe and supportive learning environment for new parents and caregivers to explore ways of supporting and caring for themselves, each other, and most importantly, their child, in building secure parent-child attachments, healthy intimate relationships, and loving, happy and resilient individuals and families.
In SouthRock, BC, we're fortunate to have Leanne Fessler, a specialized BBH group facilitator, exceptional counselor, and highly recommended professional, to support parents and families through this journey. As a colleague for over 15 years, I continue to be impressed by Leanne's depth of caring, strong clinical skills, resourcefulness and ability to foster safe and warm relationships with the adults and children she supports in her practice.
I would highly recommend this program to any parent or caregiver interested in strengthening their adult and child relationships and families
